    Professor Partha Pratim Dey has left this world forever. His elder
    daughter passed away on the same day in that morning. He couldn’t
    endure that loss. He got admitted in Lab Aid Hospital, Dhaka at 11:00
    am with coronary problems. He breathed last at 4.30 on June 30, 2020.
    He was such a brilliant man, a great scholar and researcher. Moreover he
    was an effective leader who steered the Department of Mathematics and
    Physics. Dr. Dey started his career With North South University on 1998
    as an Assistant Professor. This is an irreparable loss for NSU. He was a
    loving father to his two children and a devoted husband to his wife.
    May God give all the members of his family the strength to withstand
    this double blow and overcome these shattering losses.
