advertising service, or others.
 This type of advertising usually works by pay per click (PPC); 
 For example, suppose you want to make a reservation for a hotel in the Fiji
Islands next month and you search on Google: “the best hotels in the Fiji
Islands”
Advertising on social networks

 It is also called sponsored stories or boosted posts typically exists on
social media platform.
 These advertisements can be of any content such as promoting a
website, a fan page, an app or a product.

Pre-Roll Ads

 Online Commercial video that appears prior to a video.


 It is maximum 10 to 15 seconds in length.
 It is also called as in-stream video.

 It is a graphical add in the bottom of a video


 It displays while the video is playing

 In this method, a promotional mail is sent to targeted user

 It’s a tolerable and friendly form of advertising

videos and related video from which the viewer is currently watching.

 They consist in strategically placing advertisements with different


formats, sizes and designs within a web page
 They were the first advertisements to appear on the Internet.
For example, if you’re reading a news article on any online newspaper, let’s
say DailyMail.com, you’ll see advertisements like this:

Pop-ups
 A new which opens in front of the current one, displaying the
advertisement or an entire web page.

Trick Banners

 A banner that looks like a dialog box with buttons.


 It stimulate an error or alert message.

Floating ads

 An ad which moves across the user screen or float above the


content.

Mobile advertising

 It is form of advertising through mobile phones.


 Advertisements are more intended to be viewed from
a smartphone without being bothersome; whether they be text,
video or images.
