The occurrencies (occurrences) of three related types of crimes are reported in the given diagram

for a period of nine years.

As an overview, burglary rates have decreased significantly over time while cases of both car theft
and robbery remained relatively constant when compared to incidents of burglary.

From the plot it is easy to observe that cases of burglary reached a peak of approximately 3600
cases at 2011 but suddenly after there was a rapid descent until 2015 where the lowest value of
1000 was attained. During the following years the variability of this curve was pretty low staying in
a range below 1500 occurrencies per year.

On the other hand, car theft and robbery rates do not have as much movement as burglary ones.
Robbery incidents fluctuate between 500 and 1000 cases for the whole timespan, starting and
ending at nearly the same value of 750 incidents. Car theft rates doubles (double) the amplitud
(amplitude) of oscillation of robbery, having an amplitude of 1000 cases that fluctuate from 2000
to 3000.
