Daisy Baeza
To whom it may concern,

My name is Daisy Baeza and my ultimate goal is to gain a position at Socorro ISD as an
elementary Special Education teacher. I aspire to be part of a district that has a mission to
“optimize our students’ academic, artistic, athletic and interpersonal skills” and be a leader and
impact on the education of our students.

I participated in the Special Olympics during high school, have completed observation hours at
two different school with a different environment which has broadened my knowledge as to the
different SPED classrooms and teacher tasks, to how the different environments have their
different way of dealing with issues and students.

Through my college experience and that in the classroom, I have gained the knowledge and feel
confident including technology in my classroom for educational purposes. I am confident
introducing educational games, educational media (videos, images, etc.), utilizing educational
sites to best introduce and practice material, as well as Microsoft software for all purposes. I am
a determined individual, and anything I still have to learn, I am open to it and willing to learn in
a timely manner for the benefit of our students and their education.

I look forward to meeting with you in person and further discussing my experience and what I
have to offer as a new Special Education teacher for one of your schools. Thank you for your
