REFLECTION:
1. What did you learn?
 Today steps in curriculum development was taught. The discussion was
very informative because Ma’am Figueroa shared a lot of information
about the said topic although the slides of her PowerPoint presentation is
just 19 compared last week which is almost 50 slides, she has a lot to say
in today’s discussion. First the curriculum development was defined
wherein it is a process in which instructors create new courses in order to
respond to the needs of the children, society, environment and etc. It
doesn’t have to be new but it has to be revised because the needs of the
learners are changing so it has to be responsive according to their needs.
Then steps in curriculum development follows in which different models of
the process was presented such as the model of Tyler, Wheeler, and Kerr.
Factors in selecting aims, content and learning experiences was also
elaborated.

2. What did you not learn?

 I think I don’t have nothing to put in here because everything in
the discussion for me was clear. Ma’am Figueroa elaborated
the topic in each slide of her presentation.

3. What did you like most in the discussion? Why?

 What I like the most is the factors in selecting content because I
understand it well though all the topics were discussed
informatively but this one is quite self-learned topic for me and
Ma’am Figueroa elaborated it for our clear understanding.
