The survey published by the E-Government Survey presented a detailed report of
the results obtained for 193 member countries, classified under the EGDI indicator (E-Government Development Index) for the year 2020, where a positive result for Colombia is evident since 2018 it has presented a significant increase in terms of its electronic government, it is worth noting its good performance due to the excellent provision of online services (national programs, websites, e-government policies and strategies), its human capacity and electronic participation of citizens, because according to the survey it obtains one of the highest scores. However, it does not have very high levels of telecommunications infrastructure, even so, Colombia has progressed constantly if the ICT infrastructure is talked about. Currently Colombia has some of the best-rated portals of the 193 member countries where it has a high electronic participation by society, some of these portals are: “Bogota te escucha” (information system designed by the Bogotá mayor's office as an instrument to register petitions, complaints, claims, suggestions, complaints, requests and congratulations of citizen origin), Urna de Cristal (initiative of the national government to promote citizen participation in digital media and government transparency of government), iNNpulsa (digital platform designed for the business sector develop short-term solutions to mitigate the impact of Covid-19; Now during the Covid-19 pandemic there is CoronApp (application to know the evolution of the new virus in the country).
