Data Analytics and visualization with

Excel & PowerBI (16 hours)

Introduction:
Organizations have enormous amount of data.
Many users process the data, analyse the data
and present it to the management. The purpose
of the presentation is lost if the presentation
doesn’t create insights of the data.

This session will introduce concepts related data

visualization, industry best practices and the art
of “story telling” to create a journey of
understanding the data.

Deliverables & Lab Requirements:

 This entire session will be a “hands-on”
workshop. Participants need a laptop, loaded
with required software.
 Software requirements:
o OS: Windows 7 or later
o .NET 4.5
o Power BI Desktop
o Office 365 Subscription or MS Office 2013/2016/2019
 The trainer will use Microsoft Excel (OFFICE 365) and PowerBI desktop for demonstrations.
 Hardware requirements:
o Available RAM - Min 2 GB (8 GB will be ideal)
o CPU - 1 GHz or faster x86- or x64- bit processor
 Sample files for all the training topics will be distributed by the trainer on the day of training. It
is mandatory that these files are copied to the systems of all participants.
 No hardcopy of study material will be provided.
