Nikola tesla was an American inventor, engineer, and physicist. He was best known for his
nickname Electric Warlock. He was born on July 10th in 1856 in Cospic. His parents were Milutin
Tesla and Duka Madic. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Graz. He did not
finish his studies. He was working in electric power industries. His first job was as a worker in New

magnetic induction. He died on January 7, 1943 in New york. His greatest contributions were the
rotating magnetic fields, the alternating current motor and the radio during the 1890-1930s.  In
1897, Tesla sent a wireless transmission signal from his laboratory in New York to a ship that was
sailing 40 km away on the Hudson River, but was unable to complete it. His famous phrase was:
"Let the future tell the truth and evaluate each according to their work and their achievements. The
present is theirs, but the future, for which I worked so hard, is mine". In our personal opinion it is an
important part of the story. A man who with his inventions contributed to the development of
society.
