With the global population swelling and industrialisation on the rise in developing nations, humanity's hunger for energy has reached unprecedented levels. More than half of our energy comes from fossil fuels extracted from deep within the earth's crust. The figure increases from time to time. As the world shows huge possibility of inability to cover the worlds need soon, the breakthrough shall be found in the short-term of time. The new generation in the industry shall be packed-up with proficiency of taking over and turning over challenges. Besides, the committee also serve the pickup service for the delegates at several chosen pickup points and time. Here is the list below -Pasar Senen Station at 13.00-16.00 WIB Gambir Station at 08.00-11.00 WIB ‘Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 13.00-16.00 WIB ‘Halim Perdanakusuma Internationan Airport at 08.00-11.00 WIB. Please check your arrival time towards the pickup schedule. If your arrival time doesn't meet the pickup schedule, please contact the team’s LO for cooperations. It is allowed to come to the venue by your own transportation options. 2.Accomodation The delegates hospitality will be provided by the committee near the main event area. GISTRATIC RE RULE: 1.Registration will be opened through PROTECT 2020 at the following period: “Ist batch : 12th december 2019 - 1st january 2020 nd batch : Sth january 2020 - 12th january 2020 2.Fill out the registration form (Make sure the data is inputted correctly), participants registering on google form in accordance with the competition. Well Design Competition : Paper Competition : -Oil Rig Design Competition : ‘Smart Competition : 3.Participants will get an update about the confirmation payment link and payment account in maximum 3x24 hours via PROTECT 2020 official e-mail only. For Paper Competition, please submit your abstract to PROTECT 2020 official e-mail: no later than 4th January 2020 at 23:59 WIB (GMT+7) for 1st Batch Registration and 15th January 2020 at 23:59 WIB (GMT+7) for 2st Batch Registration. For the Oil Rig Design Competition, please submit your blueprint to PROTECT 2020 official e-mail: no later than 4th January 2020 at 23:59 WIB (GMT+7) for 1st Batch Registration and 15th January 2020 at 23:59 WIB (GMT+7) for 2st Batch Registration. GISTRATIC aa RULE. 4.The registration fees includes transportation and accomodation are: ‘Ist Batch IDR 500,000 / person for domestic student. USD 36 /Person for international student. 2nd Batch IDR 550,000 / person for domestic student. USD 40 /person for international student. For Oil Rig Design Competition (ORDO), the participant will be charged IDR 100,000 / team as an early registration fees. 5.The registration fees have to paid before : “Ist Batch Deadline: 1st January 2020 2nd Batch Deadline: 12th January 2020 -For Oil Rig Design Competition and Paper & Poster Competition, the final payment should be paid on 1st February 2020 - Sth February 2020, after the delegates officialy announced. 6.After you fill out the confirmation payment link, you'll get a notification from PROTECT 2020 official e-mail about about your data has been verified. 7.No refund after receiving confirmation e-mail from PROTECT 2020 as official delegates. 8.Refund will only be made for participants who have paid the registration fee but not selected as the official delegates of PROTECT 2020. 9.For further information please address KEY D. Every pen, paper sheets, and calculator will be prepared by the committee. Any cheating activities will lead to disqualification Every problem occur in the competition will bee the committee responsibilty Any further information will be informed through email TOURNAMENT OFFICIAL Judges Moderator Scorekeeper Timekeeper QUESTIONS Question's material will be about petroleum, geology, geothermal, geophysics, petrochemical, trivia, calculations, ete, related to petroleum subject. ELIMINARY ROUND So the eliminary round conduct 4 section of test. The section are short answer, short explanation, trivia, and guess the picture. Every section conduct 25 questions and get 10 minutes time to answer. The score will be ‘graded from the highest to the lowest and 8 top teams will proceeded into the semifinal section. Every right answer will get 10 points and for the wrong answer will get -5 points SEMIFINAL ROUND In the semifinal each team will get 10 compulsary questions before another 10 toss Lup sections. In the compulsary question, ‘team will choose a question bundle and and the moderator will read it for you. Every right ‘answer will get 10 points and for the wrong answer will get 0 points. And for toss up section, there will be a buzz in term. The fastest team who buzzes the bell can answer the question first before the question will he
