Origin of man: Creation vs.

Evolution

As a person who questions a lot of things, I personally believe the evolution theory as my origin.
Though I am not invalidating the creation story especially with the fact that I grew up having a
strong catholic faith. In the evolution theory, there are sensible explanations and scientific
proofs regarding the origin of man. Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which
people originated from apelike ancestors. Scientific evidence shows that the physical and
behavioral traits shared by all people originated from apelike ancestors and evolved over a
period of approximately six million years. Many of the most important advances in
paleontology over the past century relate to the evolutionary history of humans. Not
one but many connecting links among various branches of the human family tree have
been found as fossils. These linking fossils occur in geological deposits of intermediate
age. They document the time and rate at which human evolution occurred. Scientists
have unearthed thousands of fossil specimens representing members of the human
family. I choose to believe the evolution theory as my origin because the fossils
gathered and other scientific proofs and explanations are convincing enough for me. As
a keen observer, it takes a lot of explanations and valid proofs for me to believe what is
said and I find the evolution theory well explained enough for me to believe it.
