Everybody knows what it’s like to have a favorite toy. For some, it might not even be a toy. It could be a
blanket, a ball, or even a chair.

Dogs are no different from us when it comes to having that particular toy. Some have observed that
most female dogs bonded with a specific toy as they would a puppy. They tended to mother it, brought
it wherever they go, and always kept it by their side.

However, some dogs would do the opposite. They continually tore through their chosen toy, chewing
and stripping it bit by bit until all that remained were its ragged pieces. Regardless of the tattered
outcome, these dogs remain attached to these toys.

Because of this obvious attachment, some dog owners would do just about everything they could to
help protect their beloved dog’s prized possession. One particular dog grandpa went to great lengths to
save his granddog’s shabby teddy bear. It was the most delightful and hilarious toy rescue attempt
found on social media.

A Twitter user named Michaella shared her father’s efforts in saving their dog Lucky’s stuffed animal toy.
The poor toy was found outside their house in the pouring rain, looking wet and bedraggled. The dog
grandpa took the toy and immediately applied ‘life-saving’ measures to save the toy.

He became an instant paramedic, giving the teddy bear CPR and attached an IV to its flimsy arm. Lucky
remained by his baby’s side, as an anxious parent would do. Fortunately, the toy made a complete
recovery, much to everybody’s relief.

Michaella shared her dad’s whimsical rescue operation on Twitter, which quickly gained traction. The
post received at least 586, 000 likes, with countless people expressing their appreciation for bringing a
ray of sunshine to an otherwise dismal reality.

Every life is precious, even for a grubby dog toy that has seen better days.
