Past Continuous Tense

S+was/were+v-ing.

To describe actions in progress in the past or at a specific time in the past.

At this time (13.30) yesterday, Zulfa and her sister were sleeping.

When you called me last night, I was doing my homework.

Present Perfect Tense

S+have/has+v3

To describe something that happened at unspecific time in the past. No time expression mentioned.

I have left from this WAG. (kapan waktu left-nya jgn disebutkan).

She has decided to stop playing online games. (jgn dijelaskan kapan waktunya)

Beda anatara PAST TENSE dan PRESENT PERFECT TENSE.

Past Tense: Alika met Sherina yesterday afternoon. (ada keterangan waktu)

Present Tense: Sonia has watched that movie three times. (tanpa ada keterangan waktu kapan Sonia
nonton film tsb)

FUTURE TENSE

will/shall = be going to

To express specific future plans or something that will happen.

WILL lbh srg dipakai untuk menggantikan SHALL.

S+will+v1

Nanda will go to Bali next week.
