How important is it to keep local traditions alive?

Keeping local traditions alive is important for teaching the next generation
about a particular or shared past. Tradition contributes a sense of comfort and
belonging. It brings families together and enables people to reconnect with
friends. Also, they serves as an avenue for creating lasting memories for our
families and friends. And very important, traditions awaken in people values such
as faith, freedom, personal responsibility and the value of being selfless.

Is it easier to find out about other cultures than in the past? Why/Why not?
Yes, nowadays it is easier to find out about other cultures than in the past
because we have more sources of information. We can easily search on the
Internet what interests us and we even can find email penpals with whom we can
share information, but we can also ask questions about their culture. Also, we can
watch movies or go on road trips to learn more about other cultures
