LOGO THEME

Collaboration between key stakeholders for creating new opportunities and to effectively
drive the national financial inclusion plan, led by RMA and FI Secretariat in particular.

LOGO DESCRIPTION
With simplicity as the main guiding principle while designing the logo with a minimalistic
approach, the logo consists of three Nobus (precious jewels generally symbolizing finance and
economy in Bhutan), each placed in different space and dimension, however, each one of
them are inter-connected forming an arrowhead like shape when viewed together. This
connected nobus represents the collaboration between the involved stakeholders and the
arrowhead like shape represents a collective piercing drive to move forward with innovative
ideas and plan.
Rationale for three numbers of Nobus:
The number three, being considered as a very auspicious number in the Bhutanese culture
without having to mention the tsawasum and kenchosum, has not failed to appear again in
our own efforts of financial inclusion.
Firstly, the three numbers can be seen as the three identified enablers in the NFIS:
1. Supportive policy and regulatory environment
2. Appropriate Infrastructure
3. Institutional coordination and commitment
Secondly, financial inclusion also includes the following three elements:
i. Provision: Access to and usage of formal financial products and services
ii. Appropriate: The most relevant financial products and services
iii. Affordable: Ability to pay for financial products and services
Lastly, similar to others our own financial inclusion efforts are targeted towards the following
three underserved and unserved segments:
i. individuals
ii. entrepreneurs
iii. CSIs
Therefore, the three jewels can represent any or all of the mentioned above.
Rationale for different dimensions:
Apart from giving a visual effect of being in a 3D space, it represents the variety of this
collaborative participating stakeholders each offering its own different strengths, skills,
capacity and reach to this collective effort towards achieving national financial inclusion.
Rationale for the colors:
Blue for the center jewel as the tip of the arrow head represents RMA(FI Secretariat) whose
official color is blue, spearheading the collaboration for an inclusive financial system. In
addition, the color blue aptly offers a sense of confidence and professionalism with feelings
of trust.
The other two jewels are not only colored like the two colors of the national flag, but also for
what they project to the viewers individually. Yellow communicates to the viewers with warm
embrace and energy, positivity and happiness. The color orange is associated with prosperity,
warmth and change. These two colors fit very well with the objectives of financial inclusion
of achieving prosperity and happiness through an inclusive financial system.
