Good night everyone.

I recently saw the movie “the hole”. I saw the movie because it was recommended
on social media. The movie was directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and starred by
Iván Massagué, Antonia San Juan, Zorion Eguileor, Emilio Buale and Alexandra
Masangkay.

The film was released at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6 of
2019, where it won the People's Choice Award for Midnight Madness and received
rave reviews. “The hole” won four major awards.

This film, which was shot in the Bilbao neighborhood of Zorroza, in Spain; the story
takes place in a completely different prison, it was done in a jail that has many
platforms. In the future, the prisoners are housed in vertical cells, watching as the
prisoners in the upper cells are fed while those below starve to death. A survival
jungle where there are only three types of people: those who are above, those who
are below and those who decide to jump, unable to bear that agony any longer.

I watched the movie to the end, but it really is a disturbing movie; the performances
were very bloody, the prisoners killed other people out of hunger, there is a worldly
submission to the rules, the strict and arbitrary rules that cannot be escaped.

I didn’t like the movie because the humor is given in a grotesque way, the movie is
made with a strange, confusing story and without a good outcome. I didn't like the
movie at all, and I watched it just because the movie was recommended.
