How do you apply the critical thinking skills of an entrepreneur?

Being an entrepreneur is not an easy job. They are required to have different skills in order to
properly do their work. One of which is to have critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is closely related
to problem-solving, but it goes beyond that. As critical thinkers, entrepreneurs don’t merely solve
problems. They solve problems in the best way. Critical thinking is reflective thinking – aimed at making
a decision of what to believe or what to do. you to make reasonable choices and consider the big
picture. When we think critically, we conceptualize, analyze, synthesize, observe and evaluate. Often
entrepreneurs are very creative and innovative.

Nowadays, one of the most important criteria for success in college is the ability to think
independently while being logical at the same time. As a college student and future entrepreneur, I can
apply critical thinking skills in my school works such as assignments, outputs and examinations. We are
often tasked to present papers either on subject matter or in liberal arts. The knowledge of critical
thinking skills enables us, students to not only outline papers coherently with a logical structure, it also
helps us reason and present their thoughts in an organized and persuasive manner.

The presence of critical thinking is essential in almost every situation. Being able to critically
observe our ideas before acting upon our creativity allows us to consider all of our options on the table.
This in-turn can be a factor in saving time. It also promotes exploration and research and allows us to
expand our horizon to see the bigger picture. Critical thinking exists in almost every aspect in our life.
Whether it would be related in our job, doing school works, taking board exams, or simply trying to deal
with ordinary tasks such as how to study efficiently, decide on what kind of clothes to buy.
