It has also been instructed that cash payment at Non Base Branch will only be allowed when the customer visits such branch himself/herself. Board of Directors vide resolution no A-70 dated 25/06/2016 has revised the ABB transaction limits and competent authority to relax ABB limit for self Cash withdrawal and transfer transaction at third branch. The Regional Head/ Cluster Monitoring Head (Branch Business)/ Cluster Monitoring Head (Classic Branches) must ensure that the said relaxation be allowed/recommended only after satisfying following conditions:~ 1) Customer account must be fully KYC compliant. 2) Account preferably be older than six month with satisfactory conduct, 3) ABB limits be relaxed in customer account only for genuine business requirement and same be preferably intimated one day advance so that the necessary permission and ABB limit in system can be modified accordingly well in advance. In case of holiday or due to any unusual circumstances at base branch of customer {whose account is going to be debited), Regional Head/ Cluster Monitoring Head(Branch Business)/ Cluster Monitoring Head (Classic Branches) of respective branch in case of exception/urgency can seek permission for their valued clients from General Manager (Branch Business) and for classic branches General Manager (Classic Branch) for allowing transfer transaction (including remittances) at third branch (Max 50 lac). However the relaxation be allowed only after satisfying above mentioned conditions and shall be considered only as a special case & not as a matter of routine.
