Subject: Amendment in Cadre Allocation Policy(CAP)-2017 for the All India

Services-IAS/IPS/IFoS - Reg.

Consequent to the promulgation of 'The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act-

2019" and with reference to Ministry of Home Affairs' O.M. No. 14016/13/2019.UTS-1
dated 04th December, 2019, the undersigned is directed to state, in partial modification of
0.M. of even no. dated 05.09.2017{relatingto Cadre Allocation Policy-2017], as under:-

"The State Cadre of'Jammu and Kashmir' mentioned under Zone-I in Para 2 of
Cadre Allocation Policy-2017, issued vide DoP&T's O.M. of even no. dated
05.09.2017, stands deleted"

2. The remaining/other contents of DoP&T's O.M. of even no. dated 05.09.2017(CAP-

2017) shall remain unaltered.

3. The above modification in the Cadre Allocation Policy-2017 shall be applicable w.e.f.
Civil Services Examination(CSE)-2019 onwards.
