1- What is The secret garden about ?

is the story of an angry little girl who


was able to overcome herself and
move on. It¨s really is about the
wonder of the natural world and our
belief and faith in another;
2- Do you like gardens, how does your perfect garden look like ?

I don’t like the gardens, but if I had a


garden, this would have roses, too
many sunflowers, trees, lake with
many ducks.
3- Did you like the story, which part you liked most ?

The part of the story that I liked the most


was when Mary stopped thinking only
about herself and opened up to know
more about what surrounds her
4- Do you feel identify with one of those characters?
I sometimes identify with Mary, since
when we have problems we
sometimes fall into the error of
becoming absorbed in our problems
and forgetting what is around us
5- Why do you think Mary´s attitude its so hard with the people?

She is hard with the rest of the people


because she thinks her parents dont love
her, and she is completely alone without
any friend

6- Have you heard something about India or England?...


let me know a little bit about one of them.

I have heard something about england,


because is one of the places that I would
want to visit. I would like to go to the
London Eye, it is spectacular to be inside
that wheel and see the whole city.
7- What does the story means when it says…”People are dying like flies”.
This expression means that people
were dying quickly and in quantity ,
making it very dangerous to inabith
this place

8- According to that phrase, what is happening in India ?

India was struck by an outbreak of


cholera devastate to india and the
family of mary Lennox .
leaving no one alive but herself.
9- Mary had to move to another place…what place was that and why did she have
to move ?

She lived in India with her family but


because of colera only she survived
from her family, she had to go live
with her uncle
in Yorkshire with her maternal uncle,
Archibald Craven.
10- Why does Mr Craven live into a loneliness ?
Mr craven lives into a loneliness
because his wife died and he feels
alone and very sad all time
His wife died when gaved birth to his
son
11-Do you remember some characters from the house?... describe 2 of them.

- Dickons: described as "a common moor


boy" and "a Yorkshire angel"; he is both.
Two years older than Colin and Mary,
Dickon has lived on Missel Moor his
entire life, and has a uniquely intimate
relationship with the land. He is the
brother of Martha and the son of Susan.
- Martha Sowerby: Mary's friend and
maidservant, Martha is distinguished by
her charming frankness . Her simplicity
and kindness are a great help to Mary ,
Martha represents the goodness of all
the people of Yorkshire..

The robin is a representative of wise


and gentle nature,It is who first shows
Mary the key to the secret garden,—
part of book is told from his point of
view, as though to prove that animals
really do have minds of their own.
13-Who is Colin?...tell me all you can about him.

Colin Craven is the ten-year-old son and


heir of Archibald Craven. whose mother
died at the time of giving birth and for
this reason his father could not forgive
him and open his heart, throughout
history this changes and he becomes a
vigorous optimistic young and with the
love of his father
