Republic af the Philippines Province of Southern Leyte MUNICIPALITY OF ANAHAWAN ‘Ottice of the Municipal Mayor EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 13, Series of 2020 "AMENDING SECTION 13 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 5, SEREIS OF 2019, CREATING THE LOCAL SPECIAL BODIES OF ANAHWAN, SOUTHERN LEYTE” WHEREAS, Section 9 to 14 of Execulive Order No. 5, series of 2019 created/reorganized the Municipal Development Council as mandated under the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 WHEREAS, under Section 13 of the said Executive Order, the Sectoral Committees where created but its functions and composition ore not provides, there is now the need to provide for the functions of these commiiees as well os their composition and membership to operationalize ther mandate: NOW, THEREFORE, |, ROBERTO A. LOQUINTE, Municipal Mayor of Anahawan, Souther Leyte, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the amendment of Section 13 of Executive Order No. 5, series of 2019 which shall be now worded os the folowing: Section 13. Sectoral Committees. - There is hereby created the following sectoral committees under the Municipal Development Council; 13.1. Committee on Infrastructure Development ~ Task is to assist the council os regards policies formulation and recommend actions on infrastructure Development Programs, Projects and Activities for consideration and approval by the council 13.2, Committee on Social Development - Task is to assist the council as regards Policies formulation and recommend actions on Social Development Programs, Projects and Activities for consideration and approval by the council 133. Committee on Institutional Development - Task is to assist the council os regards policies formulation and recommend actions on Institutional Development Programs, Projects and Activities for consideration and approval by the council 13.4. Committee on Economic Development - Task is to assist the council as regards policies formulation and recommend actions on Economic Development Programs, Projects and Activities for consideration and approval by the council 13.5. Committee on Environmental Development - Task is to assist the council as regards policies formulation and recommend actions on Environmental Development Programs, Projects and Activities for consideration and approval by the council.The committees may conduct meetings independent of the counci, The Committees herein created are compose of a Committee Chairperson and ct least two (2) members to be chosen from the council members.
