Queen Elizabeth III and the Prime Minister

Interviewee 1 (Prime Minister): Good morning, thank you for inviting me to your program.

Interviewee 2 (Reina Isabell ll): Good morning, Daniela, thank you for inviting me.

Presenter: Thanks for coming. Today I will ask you a series of questions that have to do with the
advantages of migrating to Canada.

Presenter: I would like the first question to be answered by the Prime Minister

Presenter: Why is Canada's economy one of the strongest?

Interviewee 1 (Prime Minister): Because its economy is constantly responding to changes and
competition from world markets. Every day more jobs are opened that have to do with the
services and information sectors.

Furthermore, Canada's economic progress is closely linked to that of the United States, despite the
profound differences between the two economies. Currently, it is estimated that more than 75%
of Canadian exports go to the United States, while around 50% of imports come from the United
States.

Presenter: The second question is directed to Queen Elizabeth

Presenter: What is the educational system like?

Interviewee 2 (Reina Isabell ll): Canada's education system ranks first in the world in education
according to the PISA report (Program for International Student Assessment Report), Canadian
students rank first in Science and Reading; perhaps because 95% of them receive a quality
education, compulsory and free and totally financed by the provincial and local governments.
Canada spends more on education (per capita) than any other country.

Presenter: What are the programs and facilities to emigrate?

Interviewee 1 (Prime Minister): Yes Daniela, from the Canadian government we are stimulating
the entry of migrants who seek to add value to the country and its development. For this, there
are several programs to emigrate to Canada according to different parameters, such as:
• Express Entry is an online system created in 2015 to more quickly manage the tenure requests of
skilled workers.

• The PGWP or Graduate Work Permit allows you to work for up to three years after graduating
from a university there, so it often works as a transition to becoming a permanent resident.

• The Open Work Permit grants permission to work to any employer for a specified period. It
requires less documentation than Express Entry and may be restricted or unrestricted based on
occupancy.

However, you must meet certain requirements to emigrate and live in Canada without problems
with the law.

Presenter: What wellness programs does this country have?

Interviewee 2 (Reina Isabell ll): Canada is a country that cares about its residents. There are a
series of social security programs that we offer from the State, such as:

• Education system

Getting a good education is more important today than ever. It is the best thing you can do to
build a better future for your children and for yourself. In Canada, education is free in public
schools through 12th grade.

• Health Care System

we have one of the best health care systems in the world. Excellent hospitals, clinics or doctor's
offices are found in most communities. Their services are generally available free of charge to all
Canadian residents registered with the national health insurance program.

• Unemployment insurance

The Canadian resident is entitled to 60 percent of the last salary received upon dismissal from
work if he has worked for almost six months in Canada until then.

ventajas de migrar a Canadá.

Presentador: Me gustaría que la primera pregunta fuera respondida por el Primer Ministro

Presentador: ¿Por qué la economía de Canadá es una de las más fuertes?

Entrevistado 1 (Primer Ministro): Porque su economía responde constantemente a los cambios y

la competencia de los mercados mundiales. Cada día se abren más puestos de trabajo que tienen
que ver con los sectores de servicios e información.

Además, el progreso económico de Canadá está estrechamente vinculado al de Estados Unidos, a

pesar de las profundas diferencias entre las dos economías. Actualmente, se estima que más del
75% de las exportaciones canadienses van a Estados Unidos, mientras que alrededor del 50% de
las importaciones provienen de Estados Unidos.

mundo en educación según el informe PISA (Programa para el Informe de Evaluación de
Estudiantes Internacionales), los estudiantes canadienses ocupan el primer lugar en Ciencias y
Lectura; quizás porque el 95% de ellos recibe una educación de calidad, obligatoria y gratuita y
totalmente financiada por los gobiernos provinciales y locales. Canadá gasta más en educación
(per cápita) que cualquier otro país.

Presentador: La tercera pregunta está dirigida el Primer Ministro

Presentador: ¿Cuáles son los programas y facilidades para emigrar?

Entrevistado 1 (Primer Ministro): Sí Daniela, desde el gobierno canadiense estamos estimulando

el ingreso de migrantes que buscan agregar valor al país y su desarrollo. Para ello, existen varios
programas para emigrar a Canadá de acuerdo con diferentes parámetros, tales como:
• Express Entry es un sistema en línea creado en 2015 para gestionar más rápidamente las
solicitudes de permanencia de trabajadores calificados.

• El PGWP o Permiso de trabajo de posgrado le permite trabajar hasta tres años después de
graduarse de una universidad allí, por lo que a menudo funciona como una transición para
convertirse en residente permanente.

• El Permiso de trabajo abierto otorga permiso para trabajar a cualquier empleador en un período
determinado. Requiere menos documentación que Express Entry y puede estar restringido o no
restringido según la ocupación.

Sin embargo, debes cumplir con ciertos requisitos para emigrar y vivir en Canadá sin problemas
con la ley.

Entrevistado 2 (Reina isabell ll): Canadá es un país que se preocupa por sus residentes. Existen
una serie de programas de previsión social que ofrecemos desde el Estado, tales como:

• Sistema educativo

Obtener una buena educación es hoy más importante que nunca. Es lo mejor que puede hacer
para construir un futuro mejor para sus hijos y para usted. En Canadá, la educación es gratuita en
las escuelas públicas hasta el 12º grado.

• Sistema de Cuidado de la Salud

contamos con uno de los mejores sistemas de atención médica del mundo. En la mayoría de las
comunidades se encuentran excelentes hospitales, clínicas o consultorios médicos. Por lo general,
sus servicios están disponibles de forma gratuita para todos los residentes canadienses registrados
en el programa nacional de seguro médico.

• Seguro de desempleo

El residente canadiense tiene derecho al 60 por ciento del último salario cobrado al ser despedido
