1. Free Goods

Background

Free Goods is used to send additional free quantities to the


customers based on the order quantities.

Additional quantity can be of same material or different


material.

There are five steps to configure the free goods, they are

• Create condition table


• Assign condition table to access sequence
• Create free goods discount type
• Add free goods discount to pricing procedure
• Activate free goods determination

Instructions

Follow Menu Path: IMG → Sales and Distribution → Basic


Functions → Free Goods

NA0001 is used for maintaining free goods discount condition


records.

NA00 is the free goods discount type against which discount is


maintained.

The criteria for maintaining free goods record are customer


and material.

Customizing for free goods is as below


Step 1 – Create condition table

New table can be created if business wants to set up different
criteria using fields from field catalog

Step 2 - Assign table to access sequence (Standard is NA00)

Click . You can see here fields as per condition table.

Step 3 – Create free goods discount type (Standard is NA00)

Step 4 – Add free goods discount type NA00 in pricing


procedure NA0001

Step 5: Activate free goods determination

Free goods record will be checked only if free goods procedure


is assigned to sales area, document pricing procedure (from
sales order type) and customer pricing procedure (customer
master)

Pricing configuration for free goods

R100 and NRAB are provided as discount condition types.
