Summary and Response

ICT competency standard (CHED-UNESCO) as provide in the 2017,


policy, standard and guidelines for Pre-service Teacher Education. Every future
teacher demonstrate proficiency in development and utilization ICT. To ensure
that the program shall be achieve, to be developed by every Pre-Serve Teacher.
ICT standard is made up of (7) seven domains, that has set of
competencies. Domain 1: Understanding ICT in Education, in which the
teacher should comply, demonstrate and contextualize ICT in education.
Domain 2: Curriculum and assessment, the teacher demonstrates
understanding of concepts. Domain 3: Pedagogy, the teacher should use
different methods of teaching to be effective. Domain 4: Technology tools, it
requires the teacher to use the technology as a part of teaching and learning.
Domain 5: Organization and administration, teacher must share his knowledge
about ICT in organization and administration. Domain 6: Teacher profession
learning, teacher must explore existing and emerging technology to acquire
additional content and pedagogical knowledge. Domain 7: Teacher disposition,
teacher should provide ethical, social and legal responsibility in the use of
technology tool.
To be on this field, as future educator who is a major of ICT we are oblige
to perform this each domain. In which we are preparing our self to become a
better teacher for the future. To enhance our skills ability to perform each
technology trough out our future learners. We as a future educator we must be
prepare our self for this field of teaching.
