Nowadays, many people choose shopping as a form of entertainment.

Most of the
population does not have time to go shopping during the week because of work or
school. That is why they shop at weekends. This brings with it both advantages and
disadvantages.

First of all, shopping with the family requires a lot of time. Sometimes it even
takes most of the day, which could be devoted to tightening family ties, for
example, to outdoor activities like bicycling instead of walking around the gallery
looking for new clothes.

Shopping on weekends usually involves promotions, which encourages many

people to buy more things than they need. This leads to consumerism. As a result,
many clothes are thrown away, which pollutes the environment. Clothing
companies also contribute to the environment. When they see the high demand,
they produce more clothes that emit many harmful compounds into the atmosphere.

On the other hand, shopping over the weekend helps the country's economic
development. Companies earn more at the weekend than they do on public days.

What is more, weekend shopping is most often done in shopping malls, where
most of the shops we need are in one place. We do not waste time driving all over
town. Furthermore for some people shopping is a way of spending their free time.
They enjoy it. In this case, weekend shopping allows you to relax after the working
week.

In summary, shopping at the weekend has both advantages and disadvantages. It

is largely up to us to decide what is more.
