Emergency Checklist

Disasters can strike at any time either at home or while


you're on holiday. Assembling an emergency survival kit
for your home will help to ensure you're prepared.
Here is a checklist of essentials to get you started.

not exhaustive. Actual items required may vary depending on
your specific requirements. Check batteries every three
months.

First aid kit

Dynamo radio with AM/FM/ W (no batteries required)

Dynamo LED torch (no batteries required)

Emergency blanket or bag

Emergency water & food rations (non-perishable)


Aquatabs (box of 50 tabs will treat 50 litres of water)

Water containers

Gas cooker or stove

Waterproof matches or a flint stick

Candle or LED (with spare batteries)

Multi tool knife & tool set

Rope x 10 metres - has many uses

Leather gloves

Dry Bags or Dry Sacs

Large rubbish bag - will make an emergency toilet

Notebook & pencil

Rain poncho

Duct tape

Dust masks or Pandemic masks

Glow sticks

Whistle

Drink bottles (800mls)

Cooler bag/s
