Reflective Essay on the Role and Importance of Entrepreneurship

In this study, we are introducing the role and importance of entrepreneurship in our

economy on how this activity creates and sustain financial wealth to contribute in our society. As

we read the book Understanding the Social Role of Entrepreneurship by Shaker A. Zahra and

Mike Wright, we will see that it plays a significant role regarding social role and discussing

fundamentals that will open the mind of other people about how it contributes immensely, not

only to humans but also to our economic development.

Many researchers, politicians, world leaders and even successful entrepreneurs give their

perspectives and insights about the issue on having entrepreneurship’s dysfunctional effects on

society, and they agreed in a thing that we need to rethink and redefine the social value added of
