Purpose To provide clear instructions for every process, identify each and every inputs (chemical, energy,
water) for each steps, identify intermediately outputs, identity non product outputs (NPO) for each
process
Scope Identify inputs (energy, water, chemical consumption), Outputs and Non Product Outputs
(NPO),relevant to process in association with responsible personnel (Production, Lab,
ECR,Printing incharge).
Procedures

Before process flow diagrams following points are to be considered:

(I) The first input would be oval shape (blue color)
(II) Each steps need to be in rectangular (black color)
(III) Each inputs (left side) would be rectangular (blue color)
(IV) Each non product output (NPO) need to be rectangular red color
(V) Intermediately products (after each steps) need to be identified (green color)
(VI) Final product should be mentioned in green color within oval shape
(VII) Ensure product inputs according to process (for example dyeing, finishing, ETP, washing etc)
(VIII) Ensure all chemical using process are mentioned in inputs
(IX) Ensure generated wastewater with chemical goes to ETP
