Essay on Environmental Issues (pure opinion)

The greatest challenge our generation has to face is to bring back the nature’s beauty and preserving it.
In today’s world, discipline is not commonly implied; people are usually violating the rules instead of
following it. Because of this, our environment is gravely damaged. Wild animals, in terms of their
numbers are degrading and extremely affected with what to eat. Through mining, our mountains are
undoubtedly deteriorating. We are now experiencing landslides, flash floods and when the storm or any
natural occurrences come, we don’t have anything to help us lessen our burden. Our rivers, seas,
oceans, air and even the land where we stand, is suffering from extreme pollution. With all these, who
are really affected and first to suffer the consequences of what we have done? It’s us. If we continue to
destroy the place we breathe in and unjustly use our source of goods, we will surely die because it is our
environment that sustains our life.

Why do we still throw our garbage everywhere? Why do we still allow mining companies destroy and
get all the minerals that mountains should have in order for it to have a strong foundation? Why do we
still hunt wild animals and other creatures which contribute to nature’s cycle? Why do we have to do
these all even if we know what will happen in the future? Are these because of our selfishness that we
don’t care to what these will do to others?

These are not just our generation’s responsibility. These, are our responsibility. We, living in this world,
should have an immediate action, for every one of us has his responsibility of taking care of our
environment and if we all work together, we can have a great leap, a great step in achieving the world’s
best condition. World with disciplinedmankind, is like a tower reaching the sky, you cannot experience
its beauty without a tiresome walk going to the top.
