Introduction

E-content is termed as electronic content that include text, images, graphics, animation, audio
and video. Some times e-content will be single element carrying any one of the above contents
or all of the above or combination of the above. They can be presented offline (in class rooms)
or online though web pages. They can be transferable from one type of media to another type
of media.

Even though the technology was introduced and implemented in the educational sector 15
years ago, now the pandemic COVID-19 has forced everyone and every sector of the society to
go online and to use electronic / digital platform.
This webinar is also one of the impacts. I am in my office meeting you virtually as a resource
person. You are at your workplace or at home attending this seminar virtually.

We are from different geographical locations, virtually gathered and the content is being
delivered to you in electronic mode.

If you are graduated 20 years ago, then the present scenario will be very different. We feel like
we were studied in a stone age.
Due to this pandemic all the Universities and educational organizations are forced to use the
internet facilities to deliver the contents. So the entire educational sector is moving towards the
lifelong learning.
