Nowadays, group or self-study are still a controversial topic for many people.

In
my point of view, both of these methods have its own advantages.

On one hand, it could be said that self-learning proved its variety benefits in
different ways. Studying alone helps people to get high concentration to
memorize the information and improve their note-taking skills. They sometimes
must follow the lesson by their teacher way of thinking, which leads to that they
couldn’t gain deeper into the subtance of the lesson and figure out their own
misunderstanding. It’s also create an opportunity for students to do all the tasks
on their own way, with their own experienced, therefore there for these will
stimulate the curiosity and creative skills.

On the other hand, there are a great number of advantages when students
decide to study toghether in a group. Firstly, each individual comes up with their
own ideas to discuss and create an overview of projects, from that students could
detect the errors and fix them immediately to handle the problems. Secondly,
studying in a group would improve people’s listening skills because being in
collaboration means people have responsible to unify their opinions to contribute
to the overall work of the group. It is inevitable to have misunderstanding
between members in a group, and listening to other team members is the
essential thing.

In conclusion, I agree that both kinds of learning are effective for students but it is
necessary to choose the suitable way of studuying to achieve the highest
efficiency in acquried purpose.
