FREE LEARNING PRINTABLES: This pack is part of a free series of math and

literacy activities designed to be quick to do, but help children learn an

essential skill. There are 15 activities to date and you can find them HERE!
GETTING ORGANISED
Print off the page below onto card stock. I didn’t laminate mine because
the card was stiff enough, but you might like to. Cut out the circle and all
the coloured pictures. You’ll need some pegs or other clips to attach the
pictures to.
I used small bits of blu tac to attach the pictures to the small pegs as I like
to be able to quickly detach the pictures so I can re-use the pegs for
other activities. But some children might be better off if they’re glued...
I’ve had plenty of little ones who can’t concentrate on anything once
they’ve realised there’s blu-tac in easy reach!
HOW TO PLAY
Children simply decide which colour on the palette most accurately
matches the picture on their peg. Then they clip it to the colour. Note: the
reddish-colour looks dark pink (to me) in the pdf but when I printed it, it
looked closer to red, so I made the matching pictures red instead of dark
pink.
I hope your students really enjoy this activity!
