Why tired people become angry/irritated too easily?

We all were deprived of sleep at some times in our lives, and I’m
sure that we all know how feels "heaviness in the head", dizziness,
irritability and the lack of common sense, that are caused by sleep
deprivation.
That’s why it happens:
When you are tired and you need to be awake, your brain works
harder to keep you awake, so our “polite talk filter” doesn’t work,
and your true answer (in this case, anger or frustration) comes
though easier. It can’t be said, that people “get angry” easier when
they get tired – they are just less able to hide what they actually
feel – they say what they think. Here are some things, which are
happening, when you are tired and not sleeping too long:
• When you are awake too long, your thinking gets worse.
• When your thinking is disturbed, it takes much more effort to
concentrate, so even small troubles can cause a lot of stress.
• Mental stress confuses you, because everything is difficult to do,
and talking with someone can be unbelievably straining.
• You act on impulse to compensate the lost of thinking.
• Impulsive behavior leads to the fact that you say things that you
usually don’t say, and act without thinking about the consequences.
(that’s the main reason why people are saying – “tired people =
angry people.”).
During the day, your mind is busy receiving and processing
information that you get from the environment. It only stops as
soon as you sleep at night, so sleeping properly is very important.
