How to prepare my Favorite Snack

In a pot, put water over medium high heat, the guavas, cut in cases and with the skin.

Cook for 15 minutes, lower heat, blend and strain. Reserve all the strained syrup.

Place the guava syrup obtained back in the pot. Add the sugar, lemon juice and cook over medium
low heat for about 1 hour and a half or until thickened.

Then prepare a heat-resistant mold, with kitchen vinyl plastic and pour the mixture there.

Let stand until cool and then close the plastic. Put it in the fridge for a few hours or until the next
day.

When serving: Open the plastic, sprinkle a little sugar and place the sandwich paste on a sugared
surface.

five hundred grams (1 pound) of pink guavas

1 liter of wáter

five hundred grams (1 pound) of sugar

The juice of a lemon or ½ orange
