ordered. If additional drawings for a special unit are necessary, they have been
inserted. Contact us if further information is required.
RECEIVING THE CHILLER
Inspect the chiller. Check for concealed damage that may have occurred during
shipment. Look for dents, scratches, loose assemblies, evidence of oil, etc. Damage
evident upon receipt should be noted on the freight bill. Damage should be brought to
the attention of the delivering carrier - NOT to us within 15 days of delivery. Save the
carton and packing material and request an inspection. Then file a claim with the
delivering carrier.
We cannot accept responsibility for freight damages; however, we will assist you
in any way possible.

HANDLING THE CHILLER


If it is necessary to place the chiller in a horizontal position after unpacking, be
certain it is placed in an upright vertical or operate chiller while it is horizontal or on
its side, back or front. The refrigeration compressor filled with lubricating oil and
refrigerant. This also voids the warranty.

2·Capacity adjust

(1) Start unit: press "PUMP" to start unit: start chilled pump----time delay----start fan----time
delay----start compressor according to water temperature.

(2) Turn off unit :Press "OFF" to turn off unit: turn off all compressor---- time delay ----turn off
fan( or cooling pump)----- time delay -----turn off chilled pump.

(3) Capacity adjust:

T: actual temperature; Ts :setting temperature. ΔT: temperature difference 1.5℃

a)One compressor unit: During water temperature rising,when T>Ts+ΔT,start compressor;


During water temperature reducing,when T< Ts –ΔT,turn off compressor.
b) Two compressor unit:

During water temperature rising,when T>Ts,start one compressor,when T> Ts +ΔT,


start two compressors;

During water temperature reducing,when T< Ts,turn off one compressor,when T< Ts

-ΔT,turn off two compressorressor.
(4) After turn off compressor,fan delay working,when time delay finished, fan turn off.

3·Operate process:

Power on,start to 6 second countdown,panel PV section show edition,SV section show

time. If don’t press "SET" key,then start main program.

(1) After main program start , PV section show actual water temperature ,SV section show
setting temperature . Press "SET" to adjust the setting temperature , press "DOWN" or
"UP" to adjust the temperature, when adjust finished, press"SET" to exit.
(2) When there is error,PV section show "ERROR", SV section show error code. To find the
relevant error in the monitor, after error eliminated,press "REST" to reset.
(3) "COMPl"、"COMP2” is the start key of compressor1 and compressor2.
When compressor start,the LED indicator light turn on; Only when the unit working,
the "COMPl" key and "COMP2”key is effective.
(4) The indicator light:

Safety Precautions

1. Installation Precautions:

In order to bring into best play the optimum performance of the equipment, please
check the following article notes. If they are not normative, please take effective
measures to solve them prior to operating the unit.

●The vendor shall be entrusted with the installation work.

Installation shall be done with the technical guidance of the manufacturer. Poor
installation will cause such disasters as electric leakage, electric shock and etc.

●Installation shall be completed as specified in the specification.

Such accidents as leakage, electric shock and fire may be brought about due to
nonstandard installation.

●The foundation for installation of unit must be of adequate bearing capability.

Should the installation foundation not be firm, the subsidence of unit or personal
injury may take place.

●electric installation

In electric installation there should be special line, which shall be in the charge of the
special electricians. Shortage of power supply in line or wrong power supply shall
give rise to such accidents as electric shock and fire.

●The standard cable and wire shall be used in line connection, and the firmness of
each joint be guaranteed.

High temperature and fire disaster may arise out of loose connection of wire and joint.

●It is the professional’s duty to install the auxiliary equipment.

The auxiliary equipment shall be the specific product. Wrong choice of such a product
is easy to cause electric shock and fire.

●Installation of the unit at the place for possible leakage of inflammable gas is
prohibited.

In case of leakage of inflammable gas and assemblage around the unit the fire will
possibly happen.

●The leakage breaker shall be set and installed in accordance with the technical
standard of electric equipment and standards of indoor wiring.

Any wrong installation may lead to electric shock.

●The smoothness of sewerage shall be guaranteed at the position for installation of


equipment.

The inconsistent erection of sewerage may cause uneasy drainage so as to damp


equipment and device.

●The chilled water used in the unit shall comply with the water quality standards.

In addition to damages to the performance and service life of the unit, the
deterioration of water quality may give rise to water leak.

●It is forbidden to press the electromagnetic contactor with fingers so as to start up


the compressor, which is one of the reasons for electric shock or fire.

●Application of refrigerant or refrigeration oil of wrong types is put under taboo,

otherwise fire or explosion and other accidents may arise therefrom.

●The casing of the unit shall be grounded.

The earth wire can’t be connected with gas pipe, water pipe, lightning arrester. Wrong
methods of grounding shall produce electric shock.

●Installation of the unit in the bad environment is prohibited.

The cooling-water unit can’t be installed in the areas adjacent to hot spring, coast or
full of oil, because the corrosion of the unit arising from these natural elements shall
cause electric shock or fire.

●Touching the high-temperature part of compressor and refrigerant pipeline is not


allowed, otherwise the scald shall find you.

●The power wires can’ be laid in the unit bay for fear of fire disaster.

2.Operation Precautions

●In case of abnormality in operation of the unit (such as scorch smell) please have
power cut and contact the distributor immediately.

Continuous operation in such a case shall result in equipment breakdown, electric


shock or fire.

●Use of any refrigerant but water is not allowed, or fire or explosion shall arise.

●No controlling the operation and stoppage of the unit directly with power switch or
brake, otherwise such an operation shall give rise to electric shock or fire.

●Effective actions shall be taken against leakage of refrigerant.

The cooling-water unit being installed in the room of mechanical equipment, the
practical measures shall be taken against leakage of refrigerant. In case of leakage of
secondary refrigerant beyond the limit of concentration the anoxia accident shall find
the people.

●The unit can’t be used for other purposes out of the design range. This unit is not
applicable to storage of food, animals and plants, precision instruments, arts and etc.,
or these articles shall deteriorate in quality.

●Application of the fuse exceeding normal capacity is prohibited.

The replacement of fuse by electric wire shall endanger equipment or cause fire.

●No pressing the electromagnetic contactor with fingers to start up the compressor for
fear of electric shock or fire.

●The unit can’t be started up when the door of control box is opened, for fear of
electric shock or fire.

●It is absolutely disallowed to operate the unit with wet hands because such an action
is one of the reasons for electric shock.

●Emplacement of chilled-water unit near the inflammable gas is forbidden because


such a gas is easy to catch fire.

●Force startup of the unit by emergency apparatus of short circuit is prohibited, which
shall possibly result in such aftermaths as fire and explosion.

●No changing the set of protective device.

Incontrollable protective device shall bring about fire disaster.

●Placement of liquid vessel (such as vase) on the machine body is not allowed.

Provided that the liquid spills and flows into the unit, it shall damage the electrical
device so as to cause electric shock.

●The unit shall be shut down and the power cut off for cleaning, for fear of accidental
injury.

●It is a must to release the remained water completely in case of long disuse of the
unit.

In the period for long disuse of the unit the water pipe shall be filled with
non-freezing solution or the remained water discharged completely, or it shall bring
about the leakage of water pipe.

●Placement and hanging of any objects over the unit is prohibited.

Dumping or falling of objects may cause accidental injury.

●Inspection shall be given to the firmness of the foundation after the unit works for a
period.

●Washing the unit with water is forbidden, for fear of electric shock.

●The chilled water and cooling water must fulfill the requirements of water quality.

Deterioration of water quality shall spoil the performance and service life of the unit
and cause leakage.

●It is not allowed to touch the high-temperature part of compressor and the coolant
pipeline for fear of scald.

1、 In order to keep the unit in the best working condition, regular maintenance shall

2 、The condenser shall be cleaned once every three months or in case of abnormality
in high pressure.
♦ Incrustant and mildew shall be produced after the cooling tower works a long time
so as to weaken the refrigeration capability of the unit as well as to disable the
protective device in normal operation due to frequent actions.
♦ In the area with no guarantee of water quality, the condenser shall be washed often.
♦ For the detailed washing methods, please contact the local distributors.
4、 In case of long disuse, sometimes the water pump impeller shall be blocked by the
sediments, so the radiator fan of the water pump shall be turned with hands prior to
use of the machine.

5、 In case of alarm stoppage in operation of the unit, please let the related personnel
informed promptly for inspection of the unit. If the failures can’t be removed, please
contact the manufacturer or local distributor directly.
6、 Shorting the water-flow switch in the operation of the unit is prohibited for fear of
frost cracking of water pipe.
7、The machine room shall be equipped with related safety apparatus and maintenance
and detecting tools such as pressure gage, thermometer and etc. The tools shall be
emplaced at the fixed positions.
8、Please cut off the main power supply after the shutdown of the unit.
9、In case of long disuse to the unit, all accumulated water in the chilled water and
cooling water systems shall be released completely for fear of rust. The end cap of the
condenser water box shall be sealed.
10 、In case of long disuse to the unit, the maintenance shall be got done with.
11、 It is suggested to change the lubricant when the lubricant deteriorates and the
foreign matters and moisture in the oil increase.

WARRANTY:
Please note: Warranty effective at time of shipment.
Our warrant that all material and workmanship are free of defects in quality which
impair the usefulness of the chiller.
A. Voltage variation no greater than plus or minus 10 of nameplate.
B. Frequency variation no greater than plus or minus 3 Hz. of nameplate.
C. Must not exceed minimum and maximum stated temperatures on the nameplate
D. Not to exceed rating, including any heat sink, as indicated on the nameplate
E. The unit must not be restarted for a period of one (1) minute after intentional or
accidental shut-off.
Our warrants that all material and workmanship are free of defects in quality
which impair the usefulness of the filter fan package and all custom chillers and heat
exchangers for a period of one (1) year, except for the filter, when installed and
operated under conditions A, B, C, and D as listed above.
Not covered in this warranty is damage to the chiller or heat exchanger due to the
introduction of other than the nameplate - designated refrigerant. Operation of any our
product that has not been designed with proper protective coatings and/or options and
is in an abnormal or corrosive environment voids the warranty. Prolonged operation
with dirty filters also voids the warranty.
Should any part prove defective within the above warranty period, the customer
may choose to return the defective product that is under warranty to our for repair at
no charge or the customer has the option to repair the defective products at his own
expense and our will supply repair parts at no charge providing the defective part is
returned and found to have failed under warranty. Parts supplied as warranty
replacement parts will assume the balance of the warranty on the part returned for
warranty consideration.
Please be advised: According to the Federal Register, no person maintaining,
servicing, repairing, or disposing of appliances may knowingly vent or otherwise
release into the environment any class I or class II substance used as refrigerant.
