 Write a paragraph about the importance of knowing about cultural differences and
support your ideas with some of the examples explained in the video:

Knowing different cultures allows us to function better within society, since having a knowledge of
how they communicate in different cultures will facilitate communication when it is necessary to
interact with another person from a different culture than mine, be it because they are out for a
walk, they want to meet the person or simply want to know about a certain culture.

A clear example that they give us in the video is that greeting is not done in the same way in all
cultures and gestures and expressions also vary greatly.

Being able to know different cultures will allow less misunderstandings with communication and
will allow us to have an assertive communication.

Cultural Differences:

Because the link assigned to carry out the second activity is the same as the first, I think there is a
mistake and that is why I mention the differences that exist at a general level in different cultures.

Cultural differences:

1. Using gestures or movements can mean different things depending on the culture,
region or country.
2. There are some words that can also mean different things depending on the context in
which it is being used.
3. The ways of dressing and using certain items also change due to cultural, religious or
social differences.
