1. What are the diffrence between cardinal number and ordinal number and
give example in stences
a. Cardinal number is a number used to express the amount.
For example : numbers one, two, three, four, and so on
1) We collect five coins to get that toy
2) She is rich because she has three houses in different places
3) She gives me four candies
b. ordinal number is a number used to express sequence or stage.
For example : 1st (first), 2nd (second), 3rd (third), 4th(fourth), and so on.
1) Youare the 1st(first) winner in the competition
2) February is 2nd(secound) month in a year
2. what are the diffrence beetwen how much and how many?give examples
a. Many is a word used to count nouns/numbers that can be counted such as :
pen, book, car, and others.
for example :
1) My father has many knives in the kitchen
2) How many novels do you have?
3) My brother and i have many new movies
b. much is a word used for nouns that cannot be calculated such as : suger,
money, sand, and others.
For example :
1) I put to much salt in soup.
2) We had so much fun
3) You need much money to buy this car
