Job evaluation point’s interval is wide in 2 bands and in 5 bands the evaluation interval is less.

In a band we are look at high & low median

When there is a merger & acquisition we dilute the grades from band to band.

Why in a merger we go for dilution in bands?

Which gives the better range to go for and play with the grades?

Alpha numeric code is used over here eg A3 (3 BANDS)


Compa-ratios is calculated for every job separately
