Every each student’s dream is to get a scholarship for their dream university.

Tuition taxes have never been low, on the contrary, more and more people are
finding it hard to afford school taxes and a scholarship may seem like their only
way out. So which groups of students should be prioritized regarding receiving
these scholarships?

When it comes to students with academic performance, scholarships should

come as a reward or a sign of recognition for them. Having an impressive
academic performance is hard to obtain and maintain. Students work hard and
sacrifice most of their free time and teenage activities to achieve it, so
therefore scholarships are more than understandable to be offered to them.

Another class of people that should be prioritized in receiving scholarships are

the members of low-income families. Not only is it harder for them or maybe
impossible to afford college fees but everyone deserves a fair chance to higher
education. The financial status of a student should not impediment them to
achieve their educational and career pursuits. A scholarship is more than
needed in these cases, especially for students who also show impressive
academic performance.

Of the two areas discussed before, I believe people with academic performance
are the most understandable to receive a scholarship. After all, they worked
hard for it and a scholarship is beneficial mostly academically speaking which is
for sure their area of interest, and therefore it would only be beneficial for
them.
