Kubor Panjang, will entertain all of you with a story entitled, Jomo in Dinoland. Sit back and relax.

Jomo lives with his family in a small house at a countryside. Every evening, Jomo spends time with his friends at
the playground. One day, they played hide and seek. Jomo hid behind a big rock. It took so long for his friends to find
him and he fell asleep. Suddenly, he heard animals roared and howled. Jomo was so scared. He ran as fast as lightning
and suddenly fell into a big hole.

He was so surprise to see many strange and fierce creatures walking here and there alone and also in groups.
Some were huge, some were small, some can fly and some walk quickly on two legs. Others walked on four legs in slow
and clumsy way. He realized that he was at Dinoland, the land of dinosaurs. He was very happy and jumped with joy. It is
because he very interested on dinosaurs since he was 5. Among the various types of dinosaurs, he liked the
Tyrannosaurus Rex or T-Rex the most.

After few hours walking, at last he found a look-like huge lizard having lunch on dead animals. He went closely
to the animal and a big smile appeared on his face. It was the T-Rex….. Jomo lost his words…… he found that from nose
to tail, T-Rex was as long as a school bus and taller than a house! It was really big but the forehands are small…… it
looked so funny. Out of the blue, Jomo laughed loudly. “You are so ugly,” said Jomo…. Unexpectedly, the T-Rex turned
its face to Jomo and opened big its mouth. Jomo could see rows of big and sharp teeth. Some of them were as big as
bananas.

“Hello, I am Jomo. Who are you? asked Jomo. “I am Tuti, said T-Rex. “Tuti, you are so big and tall….. I think,
your weight is more than an aeroplane, am I right?“ asked Jomo. “Yes, you are right!”, said, Tuti. “Can you tell me more
about yourself?” asked Jomo. “Why?” asked Tuti. “Well, you know, I am a big fan of you….” explained Jomo. Tuti
smiled proudly. “Okay….I am a carnivore and hunt for my food. I can rip almost 200kg of meat and bones in a single
bite! Even though I am big, but are able to run at speeds of up to 20km per hour. “Wow!” exclaimed Jomo. His eyes
opened wide.
“I haven’t finished yet,” said Tuti. “Owh….Sorry..” said Jomo..”Please continue,”. “Our life span is around 30
years and…….” Suddenly, they heard a fierce roar…..It was Tuti’s mother. Jomo was so scared to hear that. Jomo ran as
fast as he could. Unfortunately, he stumbled upon a stone and fell. He screamed loudly. Then, he heard somebody called
his name. He opened his eyes and he saw his father. He cried and looked around in fear. He was so relief when he found
there was no fierce and scary animal. There were only his father and friends. Then only he realized that he was
dreaming……

 Boland was a little dinosaur. He lives with his father and mother in a great little swamp. There were a lot of
dinosaur children in Boland’s neighbourhood. Boland was friendly with all of them except one…..His name was Tyrone
the Horrible. He was just a kid but he was much bigger and stronger than most of the others. Because of that, he became
the world’s first big bully. He liked to bully Boland the most. He punched and teased him and always stole his sandwich.
Boland tried to stay away from Tyrone but no matter where he went, Tyrone was waiting for him.

Night after night, Boland had a hard time to sleep. He kept thinking of ways to avoid Tyrone. It seemed hopeless.
Boland’s playmates tried to help. “You have to befriend with Tyrone,” said Terry. “That’s easier sad than done,” said
Boland. “You have to give him a present,” Terry said. “A present for Tyrone? Well, at least it’s worth a try.” Boland said.

That evening, Boland went looking for Tyrone. “Today is such a hot day. I thought you might like a nice ice-
cream cone.” Tyrone smiled at Boland with a nasty smile. “Ice cream for me? How sweet!” said Tyrone. Tyrone grabbed
the cone . Then he turned it upside down and squashed it on Boland’s head. “Ha Ha Ha!” Tyrone laughed and walked
away. Boland could hear Tyrone’s laughter echoing through the forest.

When Boland’s friend found out what Tyrone had done, they were very angry. “It’s time to fight back!” Stego
said. “Tyrone has given you enough trouble. You must stand up to him and show him you are a dinosaur too. Boland was
angry too. “You are right!” cried Boland. “Maybe I should fight him and stop this nonsense once and for all. “Well,”
Stego said, “Let’s do it right now!” Then, Boland and his friends marched off to find Tyrone.

Boland stood up and faced Tyrone alone. “Listen, Tyrone,” he said. “I have had enough of your bullying. Come
and fight!” Tyrone looked at Boland, then grinned. Boland could see Tyrone’s rows of sharp teeth!...they are big too….as
big as bananas.. He said, “Okay, if that’s what you want.” It was a short fight. Little Boland had no chance to win. Tyrone
was too big for Boland. His body was as big as a school bus.
