Egg Baby Project Summary
Egg Baby Project Summary
Ms. Kutch
Health
1/17/14
Pancho did a good job at mostly sleeping throughout the whole day. I felt
extremely responsible for the baby because I had to keep watch and prevent any
accidents. I loved how I had someone who I could care for. Pancho socialized with the
other babies at school, but he fell asleep very often. It was hard to keep the baby safe in
school because it attracted a lot of attention. People wanted to handle him and touch him.
They could not realize that the egg could unintentionally break. One particular person
threatened me that he would stomp on the baby if I did not give him the answers for the
worksheet in French class. I told the teacher, and the person did not bother again. My
partner was very responsible, so when she heard what happened, she regularly carried the
egg during school. I did afterschool. Having a child affected my social health: I had to be
more careful with whom I could trust. Mentally, it was hard for me to pay attention in
class while I kept the egg safe. Emotionally, I was simply stressed. Financially, it did not
have an effect on my budget with an egg, but probably it would cost more to support a
child. Overall, having a child would weigh more responsibility and stress in my life.
