After opening the landing plate, the landing plate detection switch will be actived
and then break the safety circuit. The buzzer could be bypassed by opening the
inspection socked.
Don’t bypass the landing plate detection switch to avoid the failure of safety
function.
Landing plate switch, sag switch, handrail speed sensor and step missing sensor
will be bypassed automatically in inspection mode.
A part of special errors are keeped after power off. They could be reseted by
pressing down the reset button for twice in 3 seconds. Output port SO1 and SO2 of
SPC will be actived if the reset is successful.

E-brake [YB3]
One emergency brake is installed on the drive shaft. It always opens after power on. And in
following case, E-brake will stop the escalator.
Over speed (over 120% of rated)
Drive chain broken
Unintentional reversal of the travel direction
Power supply interrupted, E-brake will activate with 3~5 seconds time delay to avoid its
damage
Note: according to standard, E-brake must be equipped for the escalator rise over 6m.

Remote monitoring-Communication(RMS)
By Modbus-RTU communication, realize monitoring escalator status in local monitor room.
The communication able to monitor room provided by consumer. The optional function for
consumer are monitor software and softdog etc.

escalator will work in creeping speed by the inverter’s characteristic. As soon as the
passenger entry is detected, the escalator will smoothly accelerate to normal speed. Turn on
the energy saving switch, it will be into the continuous mode.
5.3.2. Photo-electric sensors for passenger detection [B31], [B32], [B41], [B42]
At the function of Normal energy saving running with inverter or beam-type self-starting, you
can choose Through-beam photo-electric sensors installed on the upper and lower.
Passenger can be detected by these sensors at the entrance and export to achieve energy
saving running. 2 couples of sensors are installed on each fore skirting or upright post
according to function and type of escalator.
Photo-electric sensors of self-starting function escalator can not be installed on
skirting in order to avoid dangerous by passages.
