For your own safety

When you install ELSmobile software, you automatically declare your consent with
the licence agreements.

Caution! When you use the ELSmobile software and the ELS software, be aware
that the data in the ELS software are higher in the hierarchy than the data in the
ELSmobile software. If, for example, you have assigned authorisations to a
transponder in the ELS software which differ from the transponder authorisations
in the ELSmobile software, the authorisations in the ELSmobile software are
overwritten with the next programming from the ELS software. If the changes
from ELSmobile are to be adopted to the ELS software, this can be done e.g.
through “read in authorisations”.

Caution! You also have to restrict the access rights in the ELS software if you
wish to avoid unauthorised people having access to management of the
ELSmobile software.

Caution: If you have created and programmed devices and transponders in the
ELSmobile software, the changes will only be enabled in the devices once you
have carried out data transfer to the devices.

Caution: Holidays and public holidays are not taken into account in time zone 32
since this time zone is to enable permanent access. Otherwise, the Sunday of
the respective time zone applies for holidays and public holidays, which you have
to create and assign.

Please note: Before you can create and program a device in the ELSmobile
software, you have to authenticate the ELSmobile software at every device you
wish to manage.

Putting ELSmobile software into operation

Before you can start managing the devices, the ELSmobile software must be
installed and some settings must have been made. To do this, follow the steps
below:

Please note! The first time you start the ELSmobile software, you will be required
to enter the CD key. The CD key is included with the ELSmobile software.

Please note: If you do not enter a CD key, a demo version of the ELSmobile
software will start in which all devices and locking media are created. This demo
version can be used for purposes of demonstration. However, there is no data
exchange between the ELSmobile software and the devices and the ELS
software is not possible with this demo version. As soon as you have entered a
CD key you will no longer be able to open the demo version.

Starting the software

After the ELSmobile software has been started for the first time,
the following dialogue window opens.

1. Choose the language in which you wish to operate the

ELSmobile software.

Please note! The CD key is included with the ELSmobile software. If you do not
enter the CD key, you will be asked about the CD key again the next time you
start the mobile software.

1. Enter the CD key and click OK. To start the demo version, leave DEMO there
and click OK without entering the CD key.
2. You will get to the start window.

Click or double-click Management (depending on the setting).

The following window opens.

Click or double-click System (depending on the setting).

The following window opens.

Click Authenticate ELSmobile for ELS Pro.

Confirm this message.

The following window appears:

Now present the master card first.

Wait for the second green flashing.
Then present the wireless wake-up card.

If successful, the following message appears:

Return to Management.
Click or double-click Devices (depending on the setting).

The window requesting you to present the wireless wake-up card appears
again:

After you have presented the wireless wake-up card, the following message
appears:

After the message has been confirmed, the window for presenting the
wireless wake-up card appears. Present the wireless wake-up card again.
If successful, the following dialogue window appears:

If you wish to transfer the authorisations already saved in the ELS Pro to the
ELSmobile software, click Yes.

If Yes is clicked and the wireless wake-up card is presented, the following window
might appear:

An authorised transponder has been transferred to the ELSmobile software.

Next, the following dialogue window appears:

If Yes, the following window appears:

Change the parameters you require and confirm by clicking Save changes.

If No, the device window appears again:

You have created an ELS Pro in the ELSmobile software. The device appears in the
device overview.
