Good afternoon teacher, today we are going to present the video support

This book is the biography of the author, there he explains all the process
that he had to go through to leave his legacy, then I will give you a brief
summary

Terry Fox was a basketball player during high school and college, at the age
of eighteen he lost his right leg because he was diagnosed with osteorscoma
that is bone cancer and had to be amputated, despite this he never stopped
sports, he continued playing running and playing basketball.

Thanks to the wheelchair he won three national championships at the end of


1979 he began to prepare for a marathon called the marathon of hope that
consisted of crossing Canada from end to end, his objective was to raise one
Canadian dollar for each of twenty-four million inhabitants of his country. He
ran exactly forty-two kilometers, he had planned to run one eight thousand
kilometers but when he got to Ontario he had already become a star and
began to appear in public events with well-known and famous people.

The cancer spread to his lungs and he had to stop the marathon, his
marathon lasted 143 days and traveled 5373 kilometers His hopes of being
able to overcome the disease and complete the race were dashed when he
died nine months later, without having reached his twenty-third birthday
