Dear citizen of Manila, as you may recall the rehabilitation of the Manila Bay was recently put to work

and the difference from the old Manila Bay can be seen drastically. Upon seeing these changes we have
received mixed reactions towards our citizen, but when the Manila Bay was opened, numerous people
went and enjoyed the new Manila bay. We are sincerely joyed that you appreciated our project, but
safety protocols were not put in place, and it is our full responsibility to ensure each and everyone’s
safety at this time of pandemic. We did not expect that large number of people to go to the place, and
we have failed, Cases has doubled after the following event. With this results, we will put an MECQ in
Manila for the mean time to again lessen the number of active cases. We hope to have the community’s
support in this decision and we also expect that our citizens will also follow our strict protocols, again
my deep apologies to our citizen.
