Rationale
A digital portfolio of your work history, education and personal achievements
can be an invaluable tool when applying for work, further study, or
scholarships. It is also an opportunity to reflect on your interest, passions and
achievements as you curate your portfolio components. Providing contextual
evidence of transferable enterprise (or 21st Century) skills is a key aim for the
portfolio.

TASK
Digital Portfolio

By the end of Year 10, it is expected that all students will have a digital portfolio to showcase
their achievements and skills. This portfolio can be online (webpage) or as a digital file (PDF)
that can be uploaded or attached to employment, university or scholarship applications.

However you choose to present your portfolio it must look professional and include the
following components;

• a way to easily navigate to different sections (tabs, menu, a hyperlinked table of

contents)
• personal security features - lock it down with a password or omit your surname and
any identifiable features. You could link your resume as a Google doc and lock it
down so that people can only view upon an approved request
• personal introduction (about me)
• your resume and academic record (this can be subjects studied, not grades)
• a record of any additional training or certificates e.g. first aid
• work history including paid work, work experience, volunteering and community
service
• personal achievements (sporting, academic, creative e.g. music exams, dance
eisteddfods)
• skills profile - evidence and artefacts demonstrating your skills (communication,
critical and creative thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, financial literacy, problem-
solving)
• evidence of your project work including evaluations of your learning
