dispersion, measure of position and measure of shape for Kumasi, Accra, Tema and sunyani.

2) There has been an argument earlier that Accra has the highest sample average followed by
Sunyani. Comment on this via the results obtained.

ANS.

From the results obtained, we can therefore make a conclusion that Accra has the highest
sample average compared to the rest of the cities and followed by Kumasi with a sample
average but not Sunyani.

3) Which particular year has the highest average?

ANS:

With the data obtained we can say that 1995 and 1996 has the highest averages of 18.735
respectively.

4) Which of the cities has more relative dispersion? What does this mean compared to the
other cities.

ANS:

Using the standard deviation from the data obtained, we can say that Tema has a more
relative dispersed revenue than any other city with the value of 1.541389509.

5) Find the quartile (Q1, Q2 and Q3) associated with each cities in the data given.

ANS:

Kumasi

Lower Quartile =18.11 million Ghana cedis

Middle Quartile=18.28 million Ghana cedis

Upper Quartile=18.38 million Ghana cedis
