Heat Finder Thermal Camera

The Heat Finder is a dual (normal and thermal) camera designed to detect EBT (Elevated
Body Temperature). It comes with the T-Guard software that enables you to monitor people
entering rooms, buildings and more. The combination is easy to set up in no time, either
fixed at a certain entry point, or with a tripod and lap-top as a flexible mobile setup.

The camera can detect EBT within a distance of 1 .. 1.5 m. It takes less than a second to get
an accurate reading. The T-Guard software will show a red screen and optionally give an
audio warning as well when EBT is detected on a person.

The Heat Finder can be used in almost any indoor

application and can take measurements from the
side (max 1m.) or front of people. The system
requires little maintenance and only needs to be
calibrated every 2 days.

If a person with EBT is detected a check with a

medical thermometer is required.

The accompanied software uses up to 24

temperature measurements per person and uses
the forehead as primary test point.
T-Guard software
Up to 6 cameras can be monitored on a screen, using
9 split screens if needed. The software monitors al
camera’s and gives an alarm (“red screen” and sound)
when a person with EBT is detected.

For testing purposes the camera has WiFi and the

software can record test sessions for evaluation.
For normal use cabling is strongly recommended and
recording is in general not allowed in the EU.

Minimal requirements for the T-Guard software:

• Core i5 or above
• 8 GB memory or above
• Graphic card with minimal 2G internal memory
Minimal storage capacity: 500GB
• Windows 10

General application information

The Heat Finder should only be used indoors and should not face heat or powerful light
sources (like windows) close to it.
The best results are achieved when the test person is slowed down or even stops for a
second. Entry points, gates and similar places are well suited.

Max 1,5 m.

Max 1 m.

Warning and disclaimer

This is not a medical instrument, it cannot detect a fever or any disease. If EBT is detected this
should always be followed by a approved medical temperature reading (eg. an ear thermometer)
by qualified personnel.
It is possible that persons with a (small) fever or a virus disease are not detected by the system
