The type of responsibility that is involved here is confidentiality, because this company

has a commitment to its clients that all samples has to be anonymous, and if any
information about the person is known, it can no longer be used. in this case, one of the
interns made a mistake verifying the anonymity of a sample, so confidentiality in this
case is at stake.
The principle that has not been followed is the issue true statement, because they
wanted not to tell their supervisor anything about what happened, which we think is not
honest to remain in silence in a situation like that. Also, they always must speak the
truth when such an error is made and report it immediately to their supervisor so that the
error does not become irreversible.
We get that by not telling the supervisor and luckily him not finding out by himself, will
result in no punishment for the interns, but it is a risk that a responsible person with
morals it’s not willing to take. In our opinion, they always must speak the truth when
such an error is made and report it immediately to their supervisor so that the error does
not become irreversible. They should not keep a situation like this a secret, and assume
the mistake made, so that, hand in hand with the supervisor, this is amended.
