This is Sir Francisco Obmerga from the Institute of Nursing, I can consider him as my mentor

because he have shared his experiences to everyone, including me. He has the characteristics of a
mentor, he is so driven to his goals which is to help other by all means. He has that drive that no
one can ever describe absolutely, but you can see and think of what is trying to do and what he is
really. In so many ways of helping, he does it all, mainly in teaching his students to be passionate
enough to go beyond their limits so that they could serve the community well, to take their future
profession seriously and do it wholeheartedly. I can say that he really is something, he is really
doing things with great rational actions and thinking because not only he thinks of himself but
rather he is doing it for his family and students, and eventually his future colleagues. All of his
teachings serve as my treasure, that I would bring these teachings to actions so that I can serve
my community well. And that I can round off my skills, it also serve as my guide in the journey
or path I took. When it comes in perfecting my craft, he really showed his effort in helping and
he wanted me to take over my mistakes and that rather than to be distracted I would use it as an
instrument in perfecting my craft. By that I can reach my goals to help others as well, and to
provide a nursing intervention with therapeutic care, with courage I am to perform well, with
integrity I am to be the justice to all who needs aid, with God and unbreakable faith I am to do all
things to my fellow men.
