3. Reading
Reading is also art. It's not
necessarily if we will read a lot
we will improve faster. If you
read 10 pages but you can't
learn something new, it's better
to read two pages and read
carefully. And do not try to
remember, try to understand,
once you understand them you
don't need to remember. Two Cats and a Monkey
Once upon atime, there lived two cats. They were good
friends. One day, they found a loaf of bread in the street. They
picked it and decide dto break it into two equal parts. The
other cat instantly agreed to the arrangement. When it came
todeciding who would be the one to divide the loaf of bread
they could not come toa conclusion.
Whilethe cats were arguinga
monkey happened tobe
passing by. Thismonkey was
hungry, too. When hesaw the
two cats quarreling, he
decided to help them. So, he
divided the loafof bread into
two parts.
But one of the pieces was larger than the other. Before the
cats could say anything, the monkey decided to take a bite.
But he purposefully took a large bite. And againthe monkey
slyly told them that he would make the other piece equal to
the smaller one by taking a bite out of it. In that manner, the
monkey finished eating the entire loaf of bread all by
himself. The cats then realized ifonly they hadn't been
fighting among themselves, they would have had the loaf of
bread.The Hungry Mouse
A mouse was having a very
thought time. She had no food
for many days and made
strenuous efforts get her food.
All her efforts went in vain.
She looked everywhere to find
her food, As the days pass by,
she became very thin.
One day, the mouse found a
basket with corns. She also
noticed a tiny hole in the bas-
ket, which was sufficient enough to move her in. She easi-
ly moved inside the hole.
Since she had no foods for many days, she ate a large
amount of corn. Without realizing her, she continuously
ate more and more corns. She realized very later that she
ate a lot more than she actually required. After eating a
whole lot of corn, she became very fat!
Satisfied with corns, the fat mouse tried to come out of
the basket through the small hole. Unfortunately, the tiny
hole could not accommodate the big mouse!!!!
The mouse started screaming ‘Oh god! Let me come out,
how can | come out?’
A rat after hearing mouse’s screaming voice from the
basket, asked her what happened!
Mouse told the story and asked rat a solution. Rat told, ‘if
you want to come out the basket, wait for sometime or
even days to lose your all your fat until you grow thin.’
Mouse started to starve now but with lots of food to come
out of the trap!Crocodile and Monkey
Once uponatime, there lived a gentlecrocodile andon the
nearby tree lived a very smart monkey. They were very good
friends. Every day, the monkey would pluck some juicy apples for
the crocodile. In the afternoon, the crocodile would swim tothe
center of the pond and pick some fishes for the monkey.
One day, the crocodile toldher
wife about his friend. She felt
4 greedy and wanted toeat the
monkey. She asked him to
, invite the monkey for lunch at
their place where she would
kill the monkey and eat his
heart. The crocodile became
very sad. Finally, he promised
herto bring the monkey
tomorrow.
The next day, the crocodile asked the monkey for a ride. He
quickly sat on the crocodile’s back. The crocodile told him that
he had promised his wife that he would bring himas her lunch.
The clever monkey told the crocodile that he left his heart with
the apples on the tree. The kind crocodile swam back to the
tree. As they came back, the monkey jumped off the
crocodile’s back and went into the jungle leaving the poor
crocodile behind.
