3. Reading Reading is also art. It's not necessarily if we will read a lot we will improve faster. If you read 10 pages but you can't learn something new, it's better to read two pages and read carefully. And do not try to remember, try to understand, once you understand them you don't need to remember. Two Cats and a Monkey Once upon atime, there lived two cats. They were good friends. One day, they found a loaf of bread in the street. They picked it and decide dto break it into two equal parts. The other cat instantly agreed to the arrangement. When it came todeciding who would be the one to divide the loaf of bread they could not come toa conclusion. Whilethe cats were arguinga monkey happened tobe passing by. Thismonkey was hungry, too. When hesaw the two cats quarreling, he decided to help them. So, he divided the loafof bread into two parts. But one of the pieces was larger than the other. Before the cats could say anything, the monkey decided to take a bite. But he purposefully took a large bite. And againthe monkey slyly told them that he would make the other piece equal to the smaller one by taking a bite out of it. In that manner, the monkey finished eating the entire loaf of bread all by himself. The cats then realized ifonly they hadn't been fighting among themselves, they would have had the loaf of bread. The Hungry Mouse A mouse was having a very thought time. She had no food for many days and made strenuous efforts get her food. All her efforts went in vain. She looked everywhere to find her food, As the days pass by, she became very thin. One day, the mouse found a basket with corns. She also noticed a tiny hole in the bas- ket, which was sufficient enough to move her in. She easi- ly moved inside the hole. Since she had no foods for many days, she ate a large amount of corn. Without realizing her, she continuously ate more and more corns. She realized very later that she ate a lot more than she actually required. After eating a whole lot of corn, she became very fat! Satisfied with corns, the fat mouse tried to come out of the basket through the small hole. Unfortunately, the tiny hole could not accommodate the big mouse!!!! The mouse started screaming ‘Oh god! Let me come out, how can | come out?’ A rat after hearing mouse’s screaming voice from the basket, asked her what happened! Mouse told the story and asked rat a solution. Rat told, ‘if you want to come out the basket, wait for sometime or even days to lose your all your fat until you grow thin.’ Mouse started to starve now but with lots of food to come out of the trap! Crocodile and Monkey Once uponatime, there lived a gentlecrocodile andon the nearby tree lived a very smart monkey. They were very good friends. Every day, the monkey would pluck some juicy apples for the crocodile. In the afternoon, the crocodile would swim tothe center of the pond and pick some fishes for the monkey. One day, the crocodile toldher wife about his friend. She felt 4 greedy and wanted toeat the monkey. She asked him to , invite the monkey for lunch at their place where she would kill the monkey and eat his heart. The crocodile became very sad. Finally, he promised herto bring the monkey tomorrow. The next day, the crocodile asked the monkey for a ride. He quickly sat on the crocodile’s back. The crocodile told him that he had promised his wife that he would bring himas her lunch. The clever monkey told the crocodile that he left his heart with the apples on the tree. The kind crocodile swam back to the tree. As they came back, the monkey jumped off the crocodile’s back and went into the jungle leaving the poor crocodile behind.
